Thrive Virginia remains an essential resource for individuals and families
For more than 50 years, Thrive Virginia has supported the well-being of families. Using person-centered and collaborative services, we empower those fighting poverty to achieve individualized prosperity and community connections.
Over the past three years, Thrive Virginia has been an essential resource for individuals and families facing poverty during a global pandemic. As a Community Action Agency, Thrive Virginia disbursed the
Federal CARES Act and special
TANF funding to assist people with rent, utility and childcare expenses. The government is no longer providing those funds.
What does the end of Federal CARES Act & TANF Funding Mean for Virginia?
While these funds have ended, our dedication to serving families remains steadfast.
