Pinwheels for Prevention
More than a reminder — it’s a movement.
In 2008, Prevent Child Abuse America® launched the Pinwheels for Prevention® campaign as a grassroots effort for individuals and organizations across the U.S. to take action. The campaign promotes healthy child development while raising awareness to prevent child abuse and neglect—before it ever happens. The pinwheels represent the joyful, happy, healthy childhoods every child has a right to. Thrive Virginia will have pinwheels displayed at the following locations:

- Charles City Department of Social Services
- Charles City Elementary School
- Thrive Virginia office building in New Kent
- Tiny Little Children Daycare Center in Charles City
