Thrive Virginia works with community partners, including the schools in our four service areas, to provide violence prevention education for children, teens, teachers, parents, and community members. Our educators use evidence-based curricula and facilitation to engage participants in one or multiple sessions. This includes violence prevention support group sessions with underserved populations, such as LGBTQ+ youth and at-risk girls ages ten to eighteen. We provide this programming in flexible formats to adapt to the needs of a particular site and have the most potential impact.
